The Christmas Gift Program is designed to help our residents, their children, the home, and our on site staff receive gifts at Christmas time. Each resident is asked to provide a list 4 items: a want, a need, something to wear, and something to read. Mothers help their children create a list. We have many items for this Christmas season! Please consider signing up for an item below.
How it works: 1) Choose your item(s) and sign up!
2) Purchase your item(s).
3) If you choose to wrap your item, please attach either the exact description as it appears in our list (ie: Toy truck for 21 month old boy or socks and undies for 7 year old girl) or the code (ie: 1A, 9C, etc) along with your name . Post it notes are acceptable as long as they are sticky enough to stay in place during delivery. If the full label is not attached, we will not know which resident to give the item to without unwrapping and re-wrapping. Deliver wrapped gifts to the Mt. Hope Sanctuary home at 303 N. Walnut Street. Be sure to leave your item(s) with a staff member. If you choose to not wrap your item(s), please contact Julie (contact information listed below) to make arrangements for pick up/drop off. ***Please do not bring unwrapped items to the home, as these are Christmas presents for the women and children!!
4) All item(s) must be brought to the Mt. Hope Sanctuary home or given to Julie for delivery by Friday, December 20th, 2019..
5) All gifts and donations are tax deductible. Receipts are available when items are delivered to the house, or upon request to staff.
You may notice we request donations of gift cards on this list. All gift cards are used at the discretion of our Case Managers and Directors for items in the home, special needs, milestone/celebration gifts to our women, and throughout the year to help cover unexpected expenses.
